Guild Living plans to open new community in Epsom.

Over the next 5 years Guild Living aim to tackle the UK’s ageing population and urbanisation needs and deliver over 3,000 new homes. We will launch with our first later living site in Epsom. Our Epsom community will span over 2.7 acres and will deliver around 200 new age-appropriate homes for the local area.

“Our vision is to deliver a significant change to how our older generation live. Our aim is to create a beautiful “age-friendly” environment that is activated by world-leading wellness programmes and activities designed to engage and connect our residents with family, friends and the greater community.” explains Eugene Marchese, Design and Innovation Director at Guild Living.

Located next to Epsom Hospital, our community will be designed to enhance the lives and health of its members and meet the needs of the Borough’s ageing demographic. We aim to ease pressure on hospital services and provide high-quality facilities accessible to the local community. We will offer our members a wellness centre that offers a full range of services, including physiotherapy, GP and occupational therapy with a pool, a gym and Guild’s active ageing classes.

Marchese adds, “We are committed to ensuring that our proposals are developed in collaboration with the local community and we are looking forward to engaging with those living in the area”.
