Guild Living is delighted to have been shortlisted for Newcomer of the Year award at this year’s Property Awards. This year the Property Week event celebrates 25 years of excellence as the UK’s leading commercial property industry.
Eugene Marchese, co-founder of Guild Living, explains: “Our vision is to deliver a significant change to how our generation live. Our aim is to create a beautiful “age-friendly” environment that is activated by world-leading wellness programmes and activities designed to engage and connect our residents with family, friends and the greater community.”
Since establishment in 2018, Guild Living has grown from a team of 2 to 33. In partnership with Legal & General, we aim to tackle the UK’s ageing population and urbanisation needs and deliver over 6,300 new homes over the next 5 years.
Responding to the underwhelming later living options currently in the market, Guild Living is working with a team of global experts in design, development and wellbeing to deliver a new class of urban retirement community across the UK’s towns and cities.
Guild Living is creating third age “communities for life” in the heart of towns and city centres.
Malcolm Johnson, Professor of Gerontology and advisor to Guild Living, commented: “Guild Living is set to become a positive, evidence-based, disrupter, creating a blueprint for other later living operators to follow suit. This is the beginning of a journey, but the foundations have been strongly laid.”
Guild Living is honoured to have been shortlisted for the award alongside many other great entries. Winners will be announced 21 April 2020.
