Care Operations Director

Chris naturally looks out for the wellbeing of people and holds a positive view of humanity. He balances a desire to help people and share his knowledge with a sound technical insight into the regulatory and compliance requirements in leading Guild’s care programmes. Chris is highly consultative as he integrates research findings, technology, the views from the leadership team and other stakeholders into Guild Care. It’s this approach that will provide our residents with a quality of care that hasn’t yet been experienced in the UK.

Chris has spent 14 years working in healthcare, in both operational and strategic roles. His experience spans a variety of specialised areas including dementia care, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries in both adults and children. Before 2006, Chris spent 12 years in the health, fitness and wellbeing sector. Starting as a personal trainer in London, he spent many years supporting people to achieve their personal goals and ambitions. This ability to listen, understand and translate the needs of others through meaningful programming is fundamental to supporting the foundations and approach of Guild Living. Chris is now working with Guild Living to create a holistic wellness approach to support better ageing in later life.
